Inventory of vascular plants and arthropods in Vale da Fonte agroforest plot.

Purpose

This dataset catalogs beneficial (pollinators, predators, parasitoids) and pest insects in a structurally diverse orchard embedded within a native coastal-forest mosaic on Pico Island (Azores). It evaluates whether such hybrid agroforestry systems sustain native and endemic arthropod diversity and function as refugia and stepping-stones in fragmented lowlands. Within a long-term design, permanent plots and standardized protocols for plants and arthropods generate a repeatable baseline.
